Ray Charachter Ref Sheet

Ray Charachter reference sheet! Hopefully I'll have time to make a more detailed version with more poses/ better anatomy. Her arms are too long I think, and her pose is a bit uncomfortable. However, when posing her I chose one that would give you a more varied view of her wings/feet/hands that would be more useful as a reference.

Ray is a Lethalavi (Lee-tha-luh-vie ) dragon. She has a belly button even though she comes from an egg.

Usually she isn't nakie, but I drew her so in this pic so you could see her markings. (She can get away with it for the same reason Sailor Moon can have nakie time every ep- no naughty bits!) She has several styles, I have a tendancy to draw her in black flare pants and a bathing suit style black top (sometimes hard to find good tops to fit over those wings.)

She has retractable fangs, and a prehensile tail. She has four fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, and three toes on each foot. Her skin isn't really scaley, it is thick and feels a lot like that of a mantaray. Her skin is mostly purple and white, though I'll draw the white parts with a bit of blue otherwise it looks dull/washed out. Her arm markings look a lot like elbow length gloves with the fingers cut out, the purple is so dark it is almost black. The same color is on her lower legs.

The inside of her wings is purple like her skin, the webbing white. It has a texture much like leather, and is fairly streachy. If she were turned around the webbing on the backside of her wings is purple, the same shade as her skin.

She has purple eyes, though I've been toying with the idea of making them blue. More than likely they will remain purple.

She has claws on her wing tips, as well as her hands and feet. I usually don't draw them on her hands or feet, it is mostly just assumed they are there, however on highly detailed drawings they will be included.
